Skötuselur - Monkfish

Monkfish - Lophius piscatorius
The Monkfish is not a very pretty sight, is it?
Only the tail is eaten and it is very tasty, surprisingly enough.
A parlor game played in Icelandic restaurants is that when
an unsuspecting foreign visitor has partaken of his Monkfish
a book is brought out and he is shown a photo of the meal.
