Razorbill - Alka

The Razorbill's most distinguishing characteristic
is the white bar on its black beak.
The Razorbill takes its young to sea at 18 days of age
and cares for them there, afloat on the ocean.
Length is about 43 cms - about 17 inches.

The stamp was issued in 1986 with a face value of 15 krónur.
