| When going on a glacier you
have to have good transport. The man at the jeep is one of the
CEO of the camping site, and his name is Hugi. |
|
| |
| And occassionally you will
have to cross some rivers to get to the glacier. |
 |
| |
| And sometimes you will have
to take some air pressure out of the tires to be able to drive
on the glacier, somtimes down to 2 psi. |
 |
| |
| Assisting other jeeps is
also a possibility. Here Hugi is assisting another jeep. |
 |
| |
| And of cource you could have
to use the shovel to get out of minor problems. |
 |
| |
| But the reward is a place
with a view that photograph can not do justice. Here you are
high on the glacier. |
 |
| |
| Another beutiful photo with
photographed from the glacier. |
 |
| |
| The jeeps do not look so
big from this view point on the glacier. |
 |
| |
| Guests on the glacier and
a beutiful view. |
 |
| |
| And the rest stop is on the
glacier to. Here guests enjoy a rest on Vatnajokull, the biggest
glacier in Europe |
