Most of you probably agree with me when I say soaps wouldn't be the same without bad people. I think all soap operas have bitches and villains. They kind of make the show more fun. Guiding light has had it's share of bad people. Like everyone else I have my favourite villains. If you look down you can see a list of my favourite ones. I put pictures too. You might notice that some of the pictures are very old and some are not of the most recent actor portraying the Character. I did this to show you the actor that played the character when he was at his worst. That's why you see a picture of Christopher Bernau portraying Alan, rather than a picture of Ron Raines. Also if you see Blake's picture, you see that I put a picture of Sherry Stringfield in stead of Liz Keifer. That's because Blake was only evil when she was played by that actress. I must admit I really loved Sherry Stringfield as Blake. That was because she was such a bitch at that time, and I have always loved bitches.

Blake Thorpe came to town to spy on Phillip for Alan Spaulding. She fell in love with Phillip and they got married. Then she found out that Phillip's old girlfriend Beth was alive. She didn't tell Phillip the truth. He found out the truth anyway and that made Blake furious. She put him in a mental institution out of jealousy. She cheated on him with Gary Swanson and later Alan-Michael. Phillip found out what a bitch she was and divorced her. Than she faked a pregnancy test to trap Alan-Michael into marrying her. On their honeymoon, Alan-Michael was kidnapped. He was saved but Gary found Blake and threatened her. Then she faked a miscarriage. Alan-Michael found out about everything and divorced her. She tried to get him back but her mother stopped her. Blake got so mad at her that she decided to destroy her lovelife by seducing Ross. If that doesn't make her a bitch, I don't know what will. Then Liz took over the role of Blake. The character changed a lot and became nicer.

Alexandra Spaulding is somewhere between good and evil. She seems to have a heart but that doesn't always stop her from hurting the ones who love her, just to get what she want's. She's dot as evil as her brother Alan. He does what ever he wants. He even tried to kill both Blake and Roger Thorpe. Roger is my favourite male villain. He abused, raped and kidnapped his wife, Holly. He has also hurt a lot of other women like Alexandra and Dinah Marler. He and Alexandra got romantically involved. They were quite a pair. Of course Alan didn't approve of their relationship. Roger has always been Alan's biggest enemy. Roger also hates Alan's guts. I guess they are too alike to stand each other. They are both power-mad and selfish. They have both hurt people physically.

Sonni Carrera was with us only for two years but she was very bad and hurt a lot of people. She wasn't just a bitch but mentally ill too. She married Joshua and cheated on him with Will Jeffries. She planned to kill Josh and leave town with his money. Will tried to kill Josh but didn't succeed. Then Sonni hit Will on the head trying to kill him but that didn't work either. Sonni found out that Joshua had a baby girl out there named Marah. Josh didn't know that Marah was his daughter and of course Sonni didn't tell him. He finally realized what a bitch Sonni really was and left her. Then she got involved with Alan. They left for Venezuela. In Venezuela, Sonni shot Alan leaving him paralized. The cops got their hands on her and planned to through her in jail but it was then discovered that she was sick. She had Multiple Personal Disorder, having assumed the identity of her dead twin sister, Solita. Sonni got cured and became a normal person, if there is such a thing. I miss Sonni very much.
